Have Blood Pressure? Eat chocolates.

To make a person to take medicines for his blood pressure or for that matter for any ailment is difficult. But to tackle the same ailments, if we ask him to eat chocolates, the chocolates sales will hit a new high.

This news is reported in every media today. It appeared in my local daily "The Hindu" and also in the Yahoo news.

Research has found that the antioxidants in dark chocolate can help slightly lower blood pressure. Yes, it is said that it will lower it slightly but how many will read the word slightly? Immediately after reading this, they may head for their nearest mall or order online much to the excitement of the children in their house.

Yahoo adds, "Unlimited quantities of chocolate won't work, they added, because "the potential blood pressure reduction contributed by the flavanols could be offset by the high sugar, fat and calorie intake with the cocoa products."

So, the warning is also given.

I know there's something that often works for me; whenever I'm overloaded with work and don't know how to get started, I relax with some dark chocolate chunks and things get clearer instantly. Ever since I'm on vacations, the dark chocolates are quite untouched, thankfully! :D
