Use your wristwatch as a compass - here's how

A simple method for finding south using nothing but an analog wristwatch and the sun:We might have advanced technically in the past century or so but still we depend on many old world so called gadgets. The centuries old compass is one such tool without which we are likely to be heading nowhere.An early form of the compass was invented in China in the 11th century. The familiar mariner's compass was invented in Europe around 1300, as was later the liquid compass and the gyrocompass which does not work with a magnetic field.The design and the shape of modern day compasses might have changed but its utility is never forgotten.
