Insects bought on e-Bay!

Sometime ago, a man sold his soul in eBay. Now someone has sold insects on e-Bay and the insects are said to belong to a new species.

A scientist has bought the insects on e-Bay for £20.

A correction:
I should have said fossilised insects.

"Dr Richard Harrington, vice-president of the UK's Royal Entomological Society, bought the fossil from an individual in Lithuania.

He then sent it off to an aphid expert in Denmark, who confirmed the insect was a new species, now extinct."

I wonder at the origin of the concept of selling fossils in e_Bay? What next can be-live animals and birds?
