Image via WikipediaWithout exception, every driver of every kind of vehicle at every traffic intersection would have felt that it is their bad day when they repeatedly encounter 'RED' at the traffic lights.Yes, as they say, someone seems to be conspiring against you in spite of your car's different speed at different roads.
However you will the traffic light to turn green as you approach may not yield to your wills and prayers.
Here is solution called travolution:
Audi's new Travolution system is designed in such a way that as you reach within a certain range before the traffic light, sensors from the light communicate with the car, telling it whether the light will possible switch colors (i.e. turn red from green or vice versa) as you approach the intersection.
This will enable the driver to decide on his immediate speed of the car.

This is such a great invention. I've found the traffic lights with the countdown to be very helpful as well.
This is really a great and practical invention. However the question is how much will this new system cost and if it'll work on all traffic lights or just some?
