“Just for once Roshan, educate me on the actual difference between iPod and mp3 player before I select my ipod from the net’s best price comparison site”?-I asked my son. I know he is knowledgeable and he has both the iPod and a couple of mp3 players.
“Apart from the design, size and the price mother, there are no major differences between them as both play mp3 songs. Hence we can’t compare an iPod and mp3 player in general. Of course, there are some difference between the latest iPod that also play video files and the mp3 players”, my replied patiently.
He then advised me to buy an ipod nano if I want to show off my latest possessions as it is really an advanced iPod model.
But I should be equally comfortable with iPod touch as far as performance is concerned. I agree with his reasoning but somehow I handle a touch screen gadget a bit clumsily.
Should I have second thoughts about buying an iPod? Can I go in for a creative zen mp3 player? After all, I am going to listen to only old Hindi and Tamil songs! Yes, that’s it then- I will settle in for this Zen thing that comes with 16GM memory.
