How Chinese do multiplication mathematics?

Teaching math varies from countries to countries. It is surprisingly not made uniform all over the world.

Math teachers of various nations continue to invent new teachings aids and they are the ones who lay strong foundation to the future astronauts and scientists of the world.

The U.S. Department of Education's Helping Your Child Learn series is of the opinion that kindergarten students should be taught to think themselves as mathematicians to build up their reasoning ability.

If Indian primary schools teachers use one method to teach mathematics to children, Chinese use a totally different method.

See below how Chinese do multiplication problem. It is unique. Brilliant really.

Interesting video. I have never imagined such a method of mathematic calculation. Also, this is a news for me to know that different methods are followed in different countries to teach Mathematics. Very useful post.
