Are beauticians facing extinction?

Why women (men too) go to professional beauticians? Women seek the help of beauticians mainly to attend to their thinning or graying hair and dry and dull skin on their body-especially the face and arms.

But what if women are given professional gadgets that can do the job of beauticians? Women an save precious time to go to beauty parlour and save money too.
