When it happens, I won't be alive. India is expected to overtake China in population count and it will be another 40 years away.According to Population Reference Bureau, by the year 2050, India's population will reach 1.75 billion!
Do you when the Indian population touched the one billion mark? It was a little more than 10 years that The Telegraph India reported that dreaded figure.
As of today, the population in India stand at 1.19 billion!
When compared to that China is still ahead at 1.34 billion but their growth is expected to be much slower and estimated at 1.48 billion in 2050.
What an interestingly gloomy picture!
