Specialist air ambulance service in Florida.

The sound of a siren is scary to anyone. I am no exception. Turning at the direction of the sound and recognizing that it is coming from an ambulance with swirling light always send a chill up my stomach. I used to pray instantly.

Yesterday, when I went to the airport to pick my sister who came from London, I noticed the flight was delayed by a few minutes due to making way for an air ambulance. I sensed my face going dark. The gloom inside the ambulance got into me. I prayed.

There were questions in my mind regarding the safety of lifting patients through medical flights.

  • Is an air ambulance equipped with all the latest life saving gadgets like ECG, Ventilators and other monitoring devices?
  • How about the required blood? Will they have all sorts of blood groups?
  • Is it safe to lift very old patients? How many patients can be accommodated in an air ambulance?
  • Since it is an emergency service, how can they find the specialist team of doctors and paramedical forces to carry a specific case?
  • Are escorts of the patients allowed inside the air ambulance?

These sorts of emergency services need a good amount of exposure so that we all know how to reach them at times of dire need. I intend to compile a list of respected air ambulance service providers and blog it.

I look upon the entire team of air ambulance with much respect.
