The scene above certainly does not look appealing, however the phenomenon was rare and bizarre.
What you see above is froth at a beach in Sydney in 2007. Yes, it is a very old story that caught my attention only yesterday.
The sea of foam was due to impurities in the ocean, such as salts, chemicals, dead plants, decomposed fish and excretions from seaweed. The foam even entered a few buildings near the beach. Yes, you can see that image in the source of this story.
The whole scene looks ugly as well as eerie!
