There seems to be a light on the medical horizon. I happen to read a report that purple tomatoes prevent cancer and diabetes.
The medical world and ordinary people all over the world are hoping to get the miracle cure for cancer and diabetes for centuries. Billions of dollars are being spent every year in research and development for cancer cure.
Reports of successes keep trickling in every now and then but nothing concrete is evolved so far.
Here is one more report:
"A front-page story in the Daily Express reported that British scientists have genetically modified tomatoes that could protect against cancer, keep you slim, ward off diabetes and help to safeguard eyesight."
Wait! Don't get excited yet. The experiments were conducted so far in cancer prone mice only.

Another candidate for a cancer cure. Hope to hear more about this in the future.
If it works for mice - it is the good start already. But where have they found these purple tomatoes? I have never seen such anywhere, only plain red ones...
